Zaire Province gains mariculture project

Mbanza Kongo - A project turned to the cultivation in a natural environment of various marine organisms for commercial purposes will be implemented in the year 2020 in Mukula locality, in Tomboco Municipality, northern Zaire Province.

The initiative belongs to entrepreneurs from China, Portugal and South Korea and will enable the creation of over 2000 jobs, as revealed on Tuesday by the director of the provincial department of farming and fisheries, Gouveia Pedro.

The source also revealed that the provincial governor, Pedro Makita Armando Júlia, has expressed support for the initiative and pledged to provide adequate spots for the implementation of the project.
