The audience took place on the sidelines of the 10th edition of the 2019 Angotic Global Exhibition Forum and Information and Communication Technologies Fair, running from Tuesday to Thursday in Luanda.

José Maria Neves told the press that it was a courtesy meeting in which he congratulated the Angolan Government for the changes in the country, particularly in the digital society.

"I attended the Angotic and saw that Angola is making huge strides in the telecommunications and information technology sector," he said, adding that the country is on good track toward sustainable development goals by 2030.

He said that Cabo Verde can support Angola in this challenge, taking into account its experience initiated in 2000, with the launch of innovative products in the continent, and having won several prizes.

He expressed his country’s availability to share knowledge on health, education and integrated governance.

It can also come up with good proposals and, together with Angola, Rwanda and other countries, help accelerate the pace of digital transformation on the continent.

More than 800 national and foreign exhibitors are taking part in 10th edition of the Global Exhibition Forum and Information and Communication Technologies Fair Angotic.
