Ministry of Tourism launches tourist itinerary for Mbanza Kongo

Mbanza Kongo - The Ministry of Tourism will launch next Tuesday (24), in Mbanza Kongo, capital of Zaire province, roadmap, map and tourist guide of this city Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

These documents contain valuable information that will guide tourist visits to the locality, including a brief history of this capital of the former Kongo Kingdom, geographical location, access facilities, hotel and restaurant network, gastronomy, travel companies, among other curiosities.

These activities are part of the program of commemorations of World Tourism Day, to be marked on 27 this month, according to the document that also provides visits to places of historical, cultural and tourist interest, included in the said tourist itinerary.

The ministry will also hold a meeting with local tour operators to make Mbanza Kongo promotional material operational as a World Heritage Site.
