Cuanza Sul hosts Agriculture Census launch ceremony Sunday
Sumbe- Agro-livestock and Fisheries Census (RAPP) will be launched this Sunday in Sumbe Municipality’s Gangula locality in coastal Cuanza Sul province.

The State minister for Economic Coordination, Manuel José Nunes Júnior, will chair the ceremony of the event.
The move is meant to appeal to the farmers and fishermen to contribute with information for the creation of an integrated statistics of livestock and fishing system in the country.
The project will be implemented by the National Statistic Institute (INE) coordinated by its general director Camilo Ceita.
The government is expected to spend 10.5 million kwanzas to support the census, which has more than 4,000 brigades mobilised for the purpose.
The ceremony will be attended by Francisco de Assis, minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Victor Fernandes, minister of Industry and Trade, João Ernesto dos Santos “Liberdade”, minister of Defence and Veterans of the Fatherland.
The governors of the provinces of Cuanza Sul, Bié, Benguela and Huambo are attending the event.
