Minister reaffirms focus on vocational technical training
Luanda - The Minister of Education, Ana Paula Tuavanji Elias, reaffirmed Tuesday, in Luanda, the Government commitment to improve the quality of professional technical training, in order to meet the demands and needs of the labor market in the country.

The Cabinet minister, who was speaking at the opening of the National Fair for Technical and Vocational Education (FENATEC), highlighted the importance of technical and vocational training in promoting jobs.
Ana Paula Tuavanji Elias said that the focus on improving the quality of vocational technical education reflects the political guidance of the Government, based on the National Development and Staff Training plans.
Regarding the event, which takes place under the slogan “Building the future by looking at the technical education of the present”, the minister stressed that it is intended to encourage scientific research and promote school, provincial and national exchange for the sharing of experiences between educational institutions and employers.
Events of its kind, she stressed, can provide for the design and development of inter-disciplinary projects aimed at the sustainable development of entrepreneurship and self-employment, as well as contributing to the innovation of strategies between technical schools and companies.
The minister considered it as an opportunity to reflect on the most appropriate ways to improve the projects presented, so as to place the country in a level of technical and technological development compatible with the current world
