Angola announces new courses for teachers
Luanda - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (Mescti) has approved eleven new courses for teachers in the field of the technical-vocational education.

The three-year training (2020-2021-2022), which also grants a Bachelor's degree, will be secured by Engineering Faculty at Agostinho Neto University, with eight courses.
The remaining three courses will be run by José Eduardo dos Santos University's Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
The new courses were developed with the support of the RETFOP Project – Technical Education and Vocational Training Revitalisation, with the financial support by the European Union and Coordinating Council of the Portuguese Polytechnic Institutes.
The 475 candidates to attend the training will be entitled to a scholarship of value to be set in the respective regulations.
With less than 30 years of age, the candidates should have completed the secondary education in the areas referred to for each course.
The courses are Civil Construction, Machines and Engines, refrigeration and air conditioning, Metalworking, Electro mechanics and Maintenance, Electrotechnics and Energy, Electronics and Automation, Electronics and Telecommunications, Production and Livestock Education, Agro-Food Industry, and Agricultural Management (30).
