Conducted by the National Institute for Research and Development of Education in Angola, the study aimed to gather contributions from society on the changes that should be included in the curricula of pre-school education, general education and teacher training, with a view to improving educational quality.

The research also aimed to capture societal opinions on the changes needed to ensure a better relationship between teaching and learning in the materialization of the national curriculum.

Understanding society's perspectives on the necessary changes in current assessment practices to improve the quality of the relationship between teaching and learning processes was also the purpose of the study.

Speaking at the opening of the presentation of the final report of the National Survey on Curriculum Adequacy in Angola (INACUA), Pinda Simão considers it necessary for those involved in the process, namely students and teachers, to participate strongly in the construction of educational reform.
