Schools in Cabinda equipped with more writing desks

Cabinda - At least two hundred and eighty-six primary and secondary schools in the four municipalities of Cabinda province will benefit by December from 28.000 writing desks.

Last weekend, the second cycle school Barão Puna of Cabinda municipality received 642 desks, more than one thousand that the institution needs to improve student accommodation.

Provincial Governor Marcos Alexandre Nhunga said the reinforcement, in addition to improving student accommodation, will contribute to student development and learning.

"Until next December we will make available to the Secretariat of Education 28.000 desks to cover current needs and also restore some schools," he said.

The teaching and learning system is present throughout the province and has 286 public and 53 private schools, totaling 340 schools corresponding to 2.102 classrooms.
