Student Dilú Emília elected Miss Angola Portugal/2017

Lisbon - The 18-year-old economics student Dilú Emília won the 14th Edition of Miss Angola Portugal 2017 on Tuesday in Lisbon.

This was during a gala held under the theme "Mbanza Kongo World Heritage of Humanity".

Also elected as 1st Bridesmaid, Vick Thiam, Psychology student, and 2nd Bridesmaid, Winnie Pimenta, student of Tourism.

Dilú Emília pledged to give priority to social and philanthropic causes during her one-year term.

She also plan to create a web-based online exchange so that the Angolan students anywhere can be aware of the reality of the country in due time.

The event served to pay tribute to the Angolan ambassador to Portugal, José Marcos Barrica, for his contribution to defence of national interest and dissemination of Angolan image in the European country.
