Young student elected Miss Lubango 2018
Lubango - Estela Isaías Chimbundo, was elected Miss Lubango 2018, in a gala as part of the celebrations of the 95 years of the foundation of Lubango city, marked last May 31.

The 18-year-old is a student of highschool on the course of Economic and Legal Sciences of secondary school No. 59 of Lubango.
The gala, which brought together 14 candidates, Eldina Correia (19 years old) and Ivania Gaspar were also elected as the first and second runners up, and Ivania Gaspar was also elected as Miss Photogenic.
The title of Miss Sympathy was awarded to the candidate Ana Luis, 17, the best traditional fashion was awarded to Jessica Satchiquata, who represented the identity of the Kwanhama people, from southern Cunene province.
The elected miss will work on advocacy for combating domestic violence, as well as look at raising awareness of how to take good care of the city.
Estela Isaías Chimbundo replaced Josequina Tomásia Gala.
