Photographic exhibition on Agostinho Neto opens
Luanda - A photographic exhibition dedicated to the memory of the first president of Angola Agostinho Neto was opened this Tuesday at the Aníbal de Melo Press Center (CIAM), in Luanda, as part of the celebrations of the 44 years of national independence, to be celebrated on November 11.

Display on life and work of Agostinho Neto

At the event that is an initiative of the António Agostinho Neto Foundation in partnership with CIAM, will be on display until January 2020 and features photographs taken at Maquis and in the early years of independence by Italian photographer Augusta Conchiglia.
The exhibition portrays the heroic essence of children, adolescents, young and old, who guided by the same purpose: freedom, united in the struggle against Portuguese colonialism.
Speaking at the opening of the event, the president of the António Agostinho Neto Foundation, Maria Eugénia Neto, appealed to all the children, adolescents and young people present to make a deep commitment to life, good morals and good deeds from parents and teachers the concept of citizenship and the culture of patriotism.
