Angolan singer Bonga performs shows in Luanda
Luanda - Angolan musician Barceló de Carvalho "Bonga" will perform two shows this weekend in Luanda as part of the projects dubbed Muzongué da Tradição and Show of the Month.

Bonga with two shows in Luanda
Bonga's performance begins on Saturday at Cultural Bela Conference Centre.
On Sunday Bonga performs at Cultural and Recreational Kilamba Centre in a show that will also include the participation of other musicians.
José Adelino Barceló de Carvalho was born in Quipiri, northern Bengo province.
He released his first album "Angola 72" in 1972 in Netherlands.
Bonga has received a number of awards for popularity and tributes. Other distinctions include medals and gold and platinum records.
In 2010 he was awarded the National Prize for Culture and Arts in the Music category.
In 2014 he was decorated by the French Embassy in Angola with the emblem of Knight of Order of Arts and Letters, and in 2018 the Angolan State awarded him with the Medal of Bravery and Civic and Social Merit
He has expressed his solidarity and altruism, giving charity concerts for institutions such as MRAR, Amnesty International, FAO, UN and UNICEF.
He has more than 300 compositions of his own, 32 albums, more than 60 video-clips, seven movie soundtracks and albums with countless covers all over the world.
