The event takes place through the platforms insta@cultura¬_angola_in portugal and facebook/moniz.161, from 9 pm this Friday.

For contributions, two accounts have been made available, one in euros (PT50.0035.0386.0001.8815.5309.7) and the other in Angolan currency kwanzas (AO06.0040.0000.3855.9460.1016.4).

Without knowing when he will return to Angola, the Angolan musician Moniz de Almeida is in Lisbon, Portugal, since February 19 of this year, where he planned to perform two shows, as part of a tour he has planned to undertake across some European countries, which also included Spain and France.

The tour is expected to be the artist's first international tour, since the death, seven years ago, of his brother and partner Beto de Almeida.

The Live show, which will be supported by Café de la Musique, Moniz de Almeida will be accompanied by the band S&R, led by Hugo Macedo.

Another Angolan musician who will perform a Live show from Lisbon, next Sunday is Eddy Tussa featuring his fellow singer Yuri da Cunha.

"These are two solidarity initiatives that aim to support these and other artists who are stranded or residents in Portugal," said Luandino Carvalho, the cultural attaché to the Angolan Embassy in the European country.
