The two traditional authorities, namely the Queen of Luvale people, Nhakatolo Tchissengo, and King of Mbunda, Mwene Mbandu III, were in Luanda at the invitation of the Head of State.

Speaking to the press at the end of the meeting, the Queen Nhakatolo Tchissengo said she transmitted to the president the hardships the Alto Zambeze Municipality faces, especially due to the bad conditions of the roads, lack of schools, medicines and hospitals.

On his turn, the King of Mbunda people said to the press that it is fundamental to have greater control of the border with Zambia, since this can be a potential spot for illegal immigration.

The king added that he also defended the division of Moxico in three provinces, considering that this could improve the services supply to the citizens and distribution of social infrastructures.
