Mbanza Kongo water supply project to be concluded in April 2019

Mbanza Kongo - Mbanza Kongo city, capital of the northern Zaire province, will have its current 260 cubic meters water supply bolstered with the entrance into operation of a new system of 1,500 cubic meters supply per hour in April 2019.

Angop learnt that the construction work of the system to bolster the city’s current water supply began in 2016, whose degree of execution is now at 95 percent, said on Tuesday a source from the Chinese CTCE company.

Mbanza Kongo city has a population estimated at 155,174 inhabitants.
