Health public tender registration opens

Luanda - The registration of the candidates for the public admission tender in the Health Sector, to be held in January 2020, began this Monday.

The registration phase, which is taking place online via the portal, runs until January 7, 2020.

There are 1,242 openings in medical careers, 2,757 in nursing, 1,691 for diagnostic technicians and therapists, 779 in hospital support and 531 in the general scheme.

The launch of the contest is being held in central Huambo province, under the guidance of Health Minister Sílvia Lutucuta.

Applicants must submit an application to the Minister of Health or to the governor of the province in which they  deliver,  photocopy of the updated ID card , proof of enrollment in the  doctors association / nurses / therapists, certificates of education, compatible with the vacancy competes.

Candidates, whose ages must be around 35 years for the general regime and 45 for the special regime, are also required to have certificates approved or recognized by INAAREES, proof that attests to their physical condition (if they have a physical disability), among others documents.

In the registration phase, there is no delivery of physical documents, and all applicants must submit the requested (in pdf format) on the portal indicated.

The physical documents will be delivered only after the tests and exclusively for the approved ones.

This will be the second Health tender.

The first was held in December 2018, and 5,000 candidates were admitted.

Angola has 6,400 doctors for at least 28 million inhabitants.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends one doctor for every 1,000 inhabitants.
