In a note, this entity also highlights the press for mobilizing all citizens to comply with sanitary standards aimed at minimizing contagion by the new Coronavirus and also for complying with the rules resulting from the Decree on the current moment.

"At the moment when Angolan society is mobilizing to face the effects of the pandemic, the Governing Board of the Regulatory Entity of the Social Communication expressed on the performance of the Social Communication", says the statement to which Angop had access today.

Accordingly, it appealed to the media, in this case the journalists, not to expand information that supposedly demonstrates the existence of drugs for the cure of Covid-19, without scientific evidence or to consult the health authorities.

Likewise, it urged citizens who use social networks not to automatically share content without checking its authenticity and seriousness, especially when they are potentially sensitive in the current context of the crisis caused by the pandemic.
