COVID-19: News about death of Brazilians deemed false

Luanda - The information circulating on social media about the death of a Brazilian couple, by Covid-19, last Monday, in the Golden condominium, in the municipality of Talatona, in Luanda, "is completely fake", said the spokesman of the Ministry of the Interior, Waldemar José.

''The truth is that the couple was found in a house in which one of the family member has tested positive for Covid-19, which caused some suspicion among the neighborhood that started to spread out the information through digital platforms'' he explained.

Speaking at the usual update conference briefing about the pandemic, the commissioner of the National Police strongly condemned the posture of citizens with this kind of ''destabilizing procedure'', promising to take to justice whoever is caught up behaving in such a way.
