Angola announces plan to create epidemic treatment center
Luanda - Angolan Government has announced plans to acquire a complex for creation of a center for treatment of epidemics and pandemics.

This was announced by the Minister of State and Head of Civil Affairs Office to the President Republic, Adão de Almeida.
The president's aide said that the construction of 200-residence infrastructures in the commune of Calumbo, municipality of Viana, Luanda, will be negotiated by the Minister of Finance or her representative, in light of the Presidential Dispatch 65/20.
Adão de Almeida, who was speaking at a press conference on the extension of the State of Emergency in the country, said that the measure is part of the strategy of the Angolan Executive to create conditions to face Covid-19 and eventual future epidemics in the country.
The Minister of State confirmed, however, the authenticity of the data contained in the Presidential Order and circulating on social media.
According to Dispatch 65/20, the acquisition of the infrastructure complex with residences, will cost USD 24.9 million.
