Covid-19: MPLA political Bureau members test negative
Luanda - With the exception of a member of the ruling MPLA Political Bureau who tested positive for Covid-19, the samples of the remaining members were negative, the Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutucuta, said Saturday in Luanda.

The government official was speaking at the press on the sidelines of the session to update the epidemiological situation of Covid-19 in Angola, in the last 24 hours, and reinforced that "all who interacted with the infected member tested negative.
According to the minister, the other members were only screened to comply with public health measures, the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the international health regulations that advise the screening of positive case contacts.
A few days ago, a member of the Political Bureau of the MPLA carried out a "random" test when he intended, for reasons of "force majeure", to move from Luanda to another province.
