Covid-19: Three more Angolans infected in Portugal

Lisbon - Three more non-resident Angolans tested positive for covid-19 on Thursday in Portugal, bringing to 83 the number of nationals infected in the European nation so far.

According to the Portuguese health authorities who released the information, of the above number, 48 remain active, 19 of whom residents, 23 non-residents and six on an Angolan government’s sponsored healthcare programme.

30 other patients are reported to have recovered and five died, the source also said.

The Portuguese authorities have put the country’s covid-19 figures at 1,931 deaths and 71,156 infections since the pandemic was announced in Portugal.
