State Minister encourages sheltering centre owner

Luanda - The Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Manuel Nunes Júnior, encouraged the owner of the "Não há órfãos de Deus " Center to continue, in a spirit of help, to support children in need of help.

Manuel Nunes Júnior made these statements to the press, during a a lunch, as part of the Christmas Solidarity offered to needy children living in the sheltering center, located in Zango 4, Viana municipality, Luanda.

The minister encouraged the center's management to continue with the same dynamism, solidarity and helping spirit in order to unite children in need of support.

The institution, which has been operating since 2003, has 72 children and young people from zero to 23 years old.

In Icolo e Bengo, the municipal administration held Christmas Solidarity over the weekend, with 300 needy children, in Caquengue, Caculo Cahango commune.

Speaking to the press, the municipal administrator, Miguel de Almeida, said that the choice of Caquengue was motivated by countless social difficulties and being one of the most needy places for support and solidarity.

The same party was joined by the African League, which also presented the children with snacks, toys and offered 60 basic baskets to residents of Caquengue.

The administrative authorities of the municipality of Cacuaco also held, at the weekend, at Funda commune, the Solidarity Christmas, attended by over 500 children from the districts of Funda, Cacuaco headquarters and Kikolo.
