The information was given to ANGOP on Monday by the head of the local branch of the Bar Association (OAA), Domingos Sassi, stressing that the exclusion was due to the poor technical, deontological and technical-professional performance shown over the 36 months of internship, subdivided in two phases as established by the OAA.
He pointed out that candidates withdrawn from the database have the possibility to reapply for the internship, taking into account the quality required of the associates in the context of legal assistance to citizens.
Domingos Sassi recalled that the internship rule for obtaining the professional badge is 18 months training and should be extended to an identical period, should the candidate's performance be deemed to need improvement, since the objective is to deepen the knowledge obtained during the course.
