WB builds capacity of water sector managers
Huambo - The World Bank (WB) is training this Tuesday the managers of water sector projects in the province of Huambo, with the aim of contributing to their capacity building in relation to the mechanisms of resolution of the complaints from the population about the supply of the product.

The event, scheduled for closing on Thursday, is attended by members of the Government and community agents, that is intended to provide them with knowledge about the new water supply system in communities and, at the same time, make them self-sustainable, with the direct participation of the population.
At the seminar on design and construction of water supply and home connections network in Huambo city, participants are discussing, among other issues, the Water Sector Institutional Development Project (PDISA II), their environmental safeguard in the different phases and the mechanism for resolving complaints in the supply network in this city.
This includes aspects of the project and the complaint resolution mechanism, as well as the mapping and its responsibility for social and environmental monitoring, as well as community governance.
