Fernando Manuel, who provided this information during the community consultation meeting, said that the Administration also plans to boost the “porridge and milk project”, which aims to assist people with the HIV-AIDS virus.
The administrator seized the opportunity to reveal that Viana has in operation 146 new classrooms, in a total of six more schools.
These new classrooms, he said, will allow the integration of 11,844 students in the education system.
Fernando Manuel appealed to parents and guardians to report any attempts to charge school enrolment in the public schools of the municipality.
“We need your help in reporting individuals that charge money for a place in public schools,” he said.
