The south-north traffic, which had been suspended at 07 am of Saturday, returned to normal after more than 14-hour hard work to remove land that slid onto the road blocking the traffic mobility.

The situation did not improve until 7:30 pm.

Buco-Zau municipal administrator, José Macaia who accompanied the work, expressed concern about the landslides caused by rainfall which affect the circulation of people and goods from Nhuca to the north (Buco-Zau and Belize).

As alternatives in case of any hindrance, he mentioned the use of Beira-Nova / Necuto / Buco-Zau road as far as Belize.

The road connecting Cacongo municipality (center), Buco-Zau and Belize is also in run-down condition due to constant rains causing landslides.
