Minister wants integrated, sustainable policies for populations
Luanda- The minister of Social Action, Family and Promotion of Women, Faustina Alves, Friday defended the need to develop integrated and sustainable policies that meet the people's needs and priorities, in particular the most vulnerable, under the new paradigm and ongoing reforms in the country.

Speaking at the opening of the “Technical Workshop for the Review of the National Social Action Policy”, the minister considered strategic the meeting.
According to her, the event enables a moment of analysis and joint debate around the National Social Action Policy Diploma proposal.
The official defended an operational strategy in holistic perspective of the problems and social phenomena that affect families, for the consolidation of a dynamic, pragmatic and efficient National Social Protection System.
Faustina Alves clarified that the intention is to ensure the implementation of the actions of the Government and partner in an integrated and coordinated way to respond to the different dimensions of the vulnerability of families.
The minister said that the different opinions and experiences of the different ministerial departments, non-governmental organisations, academies and scientific study centers are brought together to ensure that the National Policy for Action is consensual and represents a social pact.
The official recalled that the National Action Policy will allow the creation of an integrated platform of social protection, multi-sector and multidisciplinary, which guarantees to the poorest individuals and households a decent standard of living, improving access to basic services.
The meeting analysed several issues such as “ the National Social Action Policy Statute” and “Content related to Social Protection within the framework of the National Social Protection System”, “Strategy for the operation of the National Social Protection Policy.
