Cuando Cubango coach blames lack of rhythm for team’s defeat

Malanje - Cuando Cubango FC head coach, Hélder Teixeira, said the 1-2 defeat his team conceded against Baixa de Cassanje was due to the 15-day mandatory quarantine they underwent that resulted in the lack of rhythm of the players.

Nevertheless, the coach said, he considers a good game that the players, despite the lack of rhythm, were up to the task, adding that the club will continue to work.

In his turn, Baixa de Cassanje head coach who was absent for 12 games due to health issues, said that his team remains motivated and in the fight for good permanence.

With this win, Baixa de Cassanje total 18 points and rise to the 14th position, while Cuando Cubango FC with 19 points are in the 13th place of the national first division football championship.

The competition is led by 1º de Agosto with 50 points, followed by Sagrada Esperança and Petro de Luanda with 48 points each.
