Luanda – After failing to get the pass to the semi-finals of AFROCAN2023, happening in Luanda, the senior males National Basketball Team will face Tunisia this Friday for the definition of the fifth to the eighth position of the competition reserved for players that play in their respective African countries’ championships.

The Angolan squad – who were traying to improve the third position achieved in 2019 in Bamako, Mali – last Thursday lost 63-73 to Rwanda in the quarter-finals of the competition. 

On their turn, Tunisia lost in the quarter-finals to Cote d’Ivoire by 66-69.

In the other game, to define the fifth position and below, Kenya will face Nigeria.
