Angolan internationals reinforce national team in Portugal

Luanda - Angola handball players Carolina Morais, of Vipers Kristiansan of Norway, Isabel Guialo (Fleury Loirent of France) and Azenaide Carlos (Prodravka Vegeta of Croatia) have joined the national team in Portugal as part of the preparation for the African handball championship to take place in Yaoundé (Cameroon).

Since May 26 in the pre-competitive stage in the Portuguese territory, the Angolan team have already played three preparation games, won one and lost two.

The African championship runs from June 8 to 18, in Yaoundé, Cameroon, where Angola, the current African champions, are in group C along with Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Cape Verde and Algeria.
