Lubango – Tactical aspects related to defensive moves, physical matters, shot on target and the 5-1 tactical formation were improved, last Monday, by the senior males national handball team, which will participate in the World Championship, to be played from 13 to 31 of this month, in Egypt.

The group, under the technical command of José Pereira “Kidó”, trained for two hours in the multi-purpose pavilion of Nossa Senhora do Monte, in the city of Lubango, southern Huíla Province, where they are carrying out a preparation programme with the perspective of continual improvement of the players’ competitive performance.

In an interview with ANGOP, coach Kidó stated that the group developed works related to open and mixed defense, all according to the variants of the games to be presented in the competition.

Asked about the integration of the most influential athletes in the team - Romé Hebo and Elias António ,  who play for Dynamo Bucharest in Romania and Madeira Stad, in Portuga - he said that they should join the works on Tuesday (5th) only due to administrative issues.
