Men's national handball team completes training camp in Portugal

Luanda - The senior men's national handball team has finished its cycle of preparation matches for the African Championship, which will take place from 17 to 27 September in Cairo, Egypt.

Coached by Filipe Cruz, the national squad won their final preparation match against ABC de Braga, 29-21.

 On Friday, the Angolans beat FC Porto's A team (36-34). Before that, they drew 28 goals against Avanca.

 In previous games, the national team beat FC Porto 's B team 31-21, and also beat Águas Santas (28-24), as well as Povoa do Varzim (26-20).

The national handball team also beat Cape Verde (runners-up in Africa) by 28-26.

 Meanwhile, from Portugal, they will head to the competition venue.

 Angola is in group D with Tunisia, Kenya and Nigeria, and is aiming to improve on its eighth place in the 2022 edition, also held in that Arab country.
