Angola rises 24 places in FIFA ranking

Luanda - Angola has climbed 24 places in the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) rankings, released Monday by the world's governing body for the sport.

In a list led by Argentina, the African country is in 93rd place with 1,240 points, up from 117th in the previous update.

 In second place in the FIFA rankings is France, third is England, followed by Belgium.

 In the Confederation of African Football (CAF) rankings, Angola is in 20th position, having climbed 24 places to 1,240.88.

 In CAF, Morocco leads, Senegal is second, followed by Nigeria. BSV/VAB/MRA/DOJ
