Angola face Bahrain in last friendly game ahead of CAN`2023

Luanda - Angola national senior men’s football team face Bahrain Wednesday in Dubai in their final preparation match for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN`2023), to take place from January 13 to February 11 in Côte d'Ivoire.

The match is the first between the two teams, with the Bahraini team preparing for the Asian Championship.

Angola drew goalless with Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday in the second friendly game.

The African Cup of Nations was due to take place in 2023, but for climate reasons the Confederation of African Football (CAF)  moved it to this year.

The players in the national team are:

Goalkeepers: Neblu, Kadu and Dominique

Defenders: Tó Carneiro, Eddie Afonso, Kinito, Buatu, Gaspar, Loide Augusto and Núrio Fortuna

Midfielders: Fredy, Beni, Bruno Paz, Keliano, Show and Estrela

Forwards: Zine, Mabululu, Milson, Gelson Dala, Jérémie Bela, Mbala Zola and Zito Luvumbo.
