Luanda – The U-17 national men´s Football team are qualified for the next stage of the Cosafa tournament, which takes place in South Africa, qualifier for the World Cup scheduled to happen from 13 to 31 March, 2021, in Morocco.

According to a communication from the competition organizers, to which ANGOP had access on Saturday, this fact results from the disqualification of Botswana, Comoros, Eswatini and Zimbabewe, due to falsification of players’ ages.

South Africa, Malawi and Zambia are also in the next stage of the event.

Thus, the organizers presented a new calendar with the four national teams left in the competition, to be played in the round robin system. The top two teams will play the final and the other two will scramble for the third place.
