Luanda – The players of the senior male national team of basketball held last Tuesday in Luanda the tests of Covid-19 ahead of the third and last stage for the qualification to the African Championship Afrobasket2021 to start February 19 in Yaoundé (Cameroon).

Speaking to ANGOP, the assistant coach of the national team Ricardo Rodrigues affirmed that the testing finished last Wednesday as the team will resume the training in afternoon with field work.

However, on Tuesday morning the 11 time African champions held their second training in the Multipurpose pavilion of Kilamba. The preparation started last Monday in the same ground.

For that operation, the national coach José Neto will not count on the small forward player Sílvio de Sousa.

The players summoned are: Gerson Domingos, Childe Dundão, Hermenegildo Santos, Pedro Bastos, Jacques da Conceição, Carlos Morais, Gerson Gonçalves "Lukeny”, José António, Leonel Paulo, Mohamed Malick Cissé, Wilson Ambrósio, Milton Valente, Alexandre Jungo, Melvyn da Silva, Aboubakar Gakou, Yanick Moreira, Valdelício
