Luanda - Angola senior men's basketball team coach, José Neto, announced Sunday the end of his contract with Angolan Basketball Federation after the participation in the qualifying tournament for Afrobasket2021, in Yaoundé (Cameroon).

The Brazilian coach made the announcement at the end of the victory (82-51) over Senegal, stating that he took this decision due to personal decision.

Angola guaranteed their presence in Afrobasket2021, to be held in August, in Rwanda, after beating Mozambique, by 91-68, in a race in which the team lost to Kenya (73-74) and beat Senegal 82-51.

The Brazilian coach led the national team in just six matches having won four and lost two.
