Caxito – The Cyclist Dario Antonio, of Petro de Luanda’s Bai Sicasal team won on Friday in Bengo province, the individual time set of the 30th national cycling championship with a time of 23 minutes and 42 seconds.
Bruno Araújo finished second with a time of 24 minutes and 12 seconds, while Mário de Carvalho was third, with 25 minutes and 7 seconds, both of Bai Sicasal Petro de Luanda.
On Sunday, the 150-kilometer long cross-country race will be held in the junior, elite and master classes, in men and women categories.
The 30th national cycling championship is being contested by several teams from the provinces of Bengo (host), Cabinda with three teams each, while Luanda, Uige, Cuanza Sul, Huila and Lunda Norte with only one representative each.
