Luanda - The Angolan international power forward Bruno Fernando currently playing  for NBA's Atlanta Hawks, is expected to join the works of the national basketball team in Barcelona (Spain) ahead of the Tokyo Olympic qualifying tournament to take place in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Speaking to the press, the Angolan team’s head coach, the Spanish Josep Clarós , said the integration of the player depends on the evolution of his team in the "Play - offs" of the USA competition.

Angola will face Poland and Slovenia in the first phase of the tournament to take place from June 29 to July 4.

Players summoned for the national team:

Selton Miguel, from West Oaks Academy, Joshua Kishila (Sagu Texas) and Eric Amândio (United States), Edson Ndoniema, Gildo Santos, Teotónio Dó, Jilson Bango, Pedro Bastos, Malick Cissé and Eduardo Mingas (1ºde Agosto), Abubakar Gakó, Leonel Paulo (Petro de Luanda), Alexandre Jungo and Jonatão Djungo, both of Interclube, Yanick Moreira (AEK Athens) and Bruno Fernando (Atlanta Hawks of the NBA).

Former internationals players Miguel Lutonda and Aníbal Moreira are part of the national team coaching staff.
