Bouaké - Angola will play Namibia on Saturday at 5pm, at the Peace Stadium in Bouaké, for the round of sixteen game of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON`2023), which is taking place in Côte d'Ivoire.

The Angolan national team came top of Group D, while the Namibians are in third place of Group E.

After a draw with Algeria in their opening game, Angola confirmed their potential by beating Burkina Faso 2-0 in the final match of the group stage, while Mauritania beat Algeria 1-0.

The Angolan squad, who won on Tuesday in Yamoussoukro city and secured the first place in group D, had a physical recovery training session on Wednesday.

This Thursday (25 January), the national team will return to Bouaké for Saturday's  round of 16 match.
