Luanda - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has said it will give 500,000 US dollars to all the federations whose national teams have qualified for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations to take place in Côte d'Ivoire.
The Angolan Football Federation (FAF) is amongst those to be granted the sum, after the national team qualified for the final stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The amount, according to Angola sport radio broadcaster Radio Cinco, will be paid in two installments, the first before the start of the Cup of Nations to kick off on January 5, 2024.
The second part will be paid at the end of the competition. On the other hand, depending on the team's performance in the competition, the total amount could reach up to five million US dollars. GVA/AMP
