Bruno Araújo retains national cycling title

Lubango - Cyclist Bruno Araújo, from BAI Sicasal Petro de Luanda team, revalidated Saturday the title of national champion of the sport, in the Elite category.

The cyclist covered the distance of 140 kilometres, between the municipality of Bibala (Namibe) and the city of Lubango (Huíla), in the time of four hours, ten minutes and 04 seconds.

In next place were Gabriel Cole and Igor Silva, from ACT Luanda and Jair Transportes de Benguela, respectively, with a time of 04h17 and 40'' and 04h17 and 44''.

In the junior category, Hosana Gonçalves, from União de Ciclismo do Lubango (UCL), won the trophy with a time of 04h21 and 25'', followed by Danger Cristóvão, from Centro de Ciclismo Cidade do Kilamba, with 05h04'and 25''.

In the under-23 category, the national champion was Euclides Chingue, from Amadores Ciclo-culturismo (ACT) of Luanda, with 04h17.39'', followed by Hélvio Lemos, also from ACT, with the same time.
