Luanda – The 1º de Agosto senior female handball team on Friday in Brazzaville City, beat DGSP of Congo 27-24, in the semi-final match of the 44th edition of the African Champion Clubs Cup, taking place in Brazzaville.
This win brings 1º de Agosto, coached by José Terça "Chuma", to the final of the tournament, in which they will face Petro de Luanda, who beat Al Ahly of Egypt 22-18, in a match also played on Friday.
The African championship trophy will therefore be contested between the two Angolan clubs, as it was in the last edition.
