Lubango - Desportivo da Lunda-Sul beat Clube Desportivo da Huíla (1-0) this Tuesday at the Tundavala Stadium, in Lubango, thus maintaining their lead of the first division National Football Championship (Girabola2023/24).
With this victory, Desportivo da Lunda-Sul team have 28 points, one more than Petro de Luanda, in second place, while Desportivo da Huíla remain in eighth place with 17 points.

The coach of Clube Desportivo da Huíla, Paulo Torres, admitted that the team did not produce, even though they had the arguments to play on equal terms with their opponents, regretting the goal at the end of the match.
The coach of Desportivo da Lunda Sul, Maurílio Silva, said that the victory was the result of hard work throughout the game.
