Benguela – Organising regional championships to reduce costs to clubs and working to improve the quality of national football are, among others, the list C candidate’s pledges for the presidency of the Angolan federation of the sport (FAF), António Gomes "Tony Estraga".

When presenting his action programme for 2020/24, in Benguela,  the candidate defended the need to increase the number of events and change his competitive model, adapting it to the current reality of the country and the clubs.

Aiming to improve and expand the sport, the former athlete of 1º de Agosto also gives priority to the second division, training levels, training of managers, technicians, referees, organisation of institutions, in addition to seeking support from the national business community.
 

The province of Benguela has a voting population of 17 clubs, two of which are from the first division (Académica do Lobito and Williete).
 

The elections are scheduled for November 14 and will run for the FAF presidency, in addition to Tony Estraga, Nando Jordão (list A), Artur Almeida e Silva (B) and José Alberto Macaia (D).
