Luanda – Interclube won the senior women’s basketball Super Club after beating 1º de Agosto 56-49 on Saturday in a game played at the Welwitschia Mirabilis pavilion in Namibe province.
Interclube team won the third consecutive title, after 2021, 2022 and 2023, totaling 12 trophies, compared to 10 achieved by 1º de Agosto team, the statistics started in 2001 has shown.
The two teams from the country's capital produced less than in the previous edition, where Interclube won 74-62 at the Cidadela Pavilion in Luanda province.
The game marks the opening of the national women’s basketball season.
