Malanje - Interclube and 1º de Agosto senior women’s basketball teams clash Friday for the 2022 edition of the Angola basketball Super Cup, to be played at Palanca Negra Pavilion, Malanje City.
Inter held a training session early in the morning ahead of the game to adapt to the basketball court, while their opponent did so on Wednesday night.
Interclube assistant coach, Fernando Figueiredo, said that although he recognises the potential of the opponent, the team have been working to improve technical and tactical aspects to regain the title won in 2021.
Interclube were crowned champions in 2021 after beating 1º de Agosto 77-63 in the final. The team seek to lift the 11th title this year.
