Handball: Minister optimistic about Angola’s performance in world cup

Malanje – Angolan minister of Youth and Sports Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto said Thursday in northern Malanje province that she was confident in good performances of the national senior men's handball team in the 2021 IHF World Men's Handball Championship to take place on 14-31 January in Egypt.

Speaking to the press, the minister said she believed in teamwork, as result of their preparation, a method that will enable them to honor the country at the international competition.

Ana Sacramento highlighted the fair-play as one of the "ingredients" to achieve good results, calling on the Angolans to support for national team, who will lock horns with Qatar in their debut match on Friday.

Angola share group C with Japan and Qatar.
