Luanda – Angolan former footballer António Mendes da Silva “Mendinho” died Thursday, in Luanda, victim of illness.
The fact was reported on the Angolan Football Federation (FAF) website.
In the note, the governing body of national football states that it was with deep pain and consternation that it learned of the misfortune.
Mendinho represented the team of “Interclube de Luanda” and was called up several times to join the National Team.
