Luanda – The national senior women's basketball team begun Friday their preparation ahead of the team’s participation in the Afrobasket2021, in September, in Cameroon.
Initially 22 players were called, however the point guard Sara Caetano will not be part of the team, since she must return to France, where she studies and plays, in Lyon Asvel, to continue her academic training.
The team is made up by the athletes Fineza Aguiar, Regina Peso, Rosa Gala, Rosemira Daniel, Elizabeth Mateus, Ana Gonçalves, Joana António, Eduarda Gabriel, Nadir Manuel, Jéssica Malage, Cácia António, Denise Pascoal, Edvânia Pascoal, Angelina Goleme, and Cristina Matiquite.
